A Monster Calls — Based on the novel by Patrick Ness
Conor is only 13 years old, but he knows exactly what will happen shortly after midnight. He will have the same nightmare again, that "nightmare full of darkness, wind, and screams." It's been this way ever since his mother fell ill.
But tonight feels different. Conor hears a voice calling him from the garden. In front of the house stands an old church with its cemetery and an ancient yew tree, which transforms into a monster before Conor's eyes.
Guided by this creature, Conor embarks night after night on a new adventure to escape his own fears, until he gathers enough courage to face his worst nightmare—his own story: the truth.
