Anna Fedorova — Piano

Ukrainian pianist Anna Fedorova is renowned for her sensitivity, poetic depth, and interpretive elegance. Gramophone magazine praised her style as "always sensitive, poetic, and tasteful, with phrases shaped flexibly even in the most demanding passages, without forcing the sound or losing composure."

From an early age, she demonstrated innate musical maturity and prodigious technique. Her live recording of Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 has surpassed 43 million views on YouTube and has been acclaimed by critics and renowned musicians.

She regularly performs on major international stages such as the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Carnegie Hall in New York, the National Auditorium in Madrid, the Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico City, the Barbican Centre and Royal Albert Hall in London, Tonhalle in Zurich, Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, and Bunka Kaikan in Tokyo.

As a soloist, she has collaborated with orchestras including the Philharmonia Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic, BBC Symphony, Tokyo Symphony, Orquesta Yomiuri, Dallas Symphony, Hong Kong Philharmonic, and many others. She is considered the "house pianist" at the Concertgebouw, where she has performed over 30 times.

In 2025, she will perform Tchaikovsky's Concerto No. 1 in Bangkok and Metz, Ravel’s G-major Concerto in Madrid, Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue in Łódź, Rachmaninoff’s Concerto No. 2 in Mexico, Athens, and Norway, Schumann’s Concerto in Modena, and Beethoven’s Concerto No. 4 in Columbus.

In 2022, she opened the Verbier Festival with the Verbier Festival Orchestra conducted by Gianandrea Noseda and made her debut at the La Roque-d’Anthéron Festival. She participated in the Ukrainian Freedom Orchestra tour, where The New York Times praised her performance of Chopin’s Concerto No. 2. Menahem Pressler wrote that her BBC Proms appearance was "one of the finest Chopin performances I’ve heard in a very, very long time."

Fedorova has worked with distinguished conductors such as Rune Bergmann, Daniel Harding, Vasily Petrenko, Gianandrea Noseda, Jaap van Zweden, and many others.

In 2024, she released the album *Intrigues of the Darkness*, featuring virtuosic works like Ravel’s *Gaspard de la nuit* and Scriabin’s Sonata “Black Mass.” She is an exclusive artist with Channel Classics/Outhere Music and has recorded all of Rachmaninoff’s piano concertos with the Sinfonieorchester St. Gallen. Her most recent album, *Fathers and Daughters*, was released in November 2023 alongside Dana Zemtsov and her parents.

Trained in Kyiv, Imola, and London, she studied under Norma Fisher and received mentorship from Alfred Brendel, Menahem Pressler, Steven Isserlis, and András Schiff. In 2022, she co-founded the Davidsbündler Music Academy in The Hague, offering high-level music education, including to Ukrainian refugees.
