Since its debut in 2011, the OFCO has maintained an intense concert schedule in Orihuela, Rojales, and the provinces of Alicante and Murcia. Composed of musicians from diverse nationalities, the orchestra offers exceptional artistic richness.

OFCO designs its programmes around thematic axes, covering various styles and periods. Its repertoire combines classical works with over 100 original adaptations of pieces by Falla, Brahms, Gershwin, Shostakovich, Piazzolla, Debussy, and others.

Its distinctive hallmark is the regular inclusion of a saxophone quartet ("Ars Musicandum"), piano, percussion, choir, and vocal soloists, creating a unique orchestral sound.

Led by Sixto Herrero, who also composes and arranges for the ensemble, the orchestra has premiered works such as El Chalamero, Ex Nihilo, Sílfides, and Samba-Flamenco.

OFCO stands out for its versatility, offering performances ranging from symphonic music to jazz, symphonic rock, zarzuela, and film music.
