Final Stage of the 24th Intercentros Melómano

December 5, 6 and 7, 2025, Auditorium of the Provincial Council of Alicante (ADDA)

The Final Stage of the 24th Intercentros Melómano will take place on December 5, 6 and 7, 2025, at the Auditorium of the Provincial Council of Alicante (ADDA).

On December 5, starting at 11:00, the Semi-Final for the Higher Grade category will be held throughout the day. It will feature participants selected by the jury during the Video Qualifying Round, completed by November 24.

On December 6, beginning at 11:00, the Semi-Final for the Professional Grade category will take place over the entire day. It will include the 17 regional winners chosen by autonomous juries during the Autonomous Phase, which ran from November 9 to 28.

On December 7, at 12:00, the Finalists' Concert for the Higher Grade category will be held. In the afternoon, starting at 17:00, the Finalists' Concert for the Professional Grade category will follow. Both concerts will feature the five participants selected by the jury after the two Semi-Finals. At 19:30, the 2025 Closing Gala will begin, featuring the premiere of the winning composition from the 2nd Intercentros Melómano – SGAE Foundation Composition Prize, composed by Diego Arévalo, along with two commissioned works: one by the composition competition winner and another by the resident composer, David del Puerto. The event will conclude with the jury deliberation to select the winners and the awards ceremony.

Intercentros Melómano is an initiative by the Fundación Orfeo, created in 2002 to encourage active participation of music conservatory students in professional-level competitions. The aim is to provide practical experience for musicians, enabling them to perform before an audience and a jury that evaluates their interpretation, not just technical skill.

All students, regardless of nationality, enrolled in any course of any instrumental specialty—including voice—at any music conservatory or authorized center in Spain may participate. The prize for the winner of each category—Professional Grade and Higher Grade—is a concert tour.

Over its more than twenty years, Intercentros Melómano has brought together over 4,500 participants from 90% of Spain's conservatories and authorized music centers. Winners have performed over 500 concerts as part of their awarded prizes.

Intercentros Melómano is sponsored by the Auditorium of the Provincial Council of Alicante (ADDA), Universidad Internacional de La Rioja (UNIR), and Yamaha. The Ministry of Culture, through the National Institute of Performing Arts and Music (INAEM), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, via the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), and the magazine Melómano are also collaborators. AIE (Society of Performers and Artists) and Percufest support the organization of this Final Stage.
