Violinist Leticia Moreno has established herself as one of the most charismatic and versatile performers of her generation, praised for her virtuosity, expressive power, and captivating stage presence that wins over both audiences and critics.

She has performed under conductors such as Zubin Mehta, Gustavo Dudamel, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Paavo Järvi, Yuri Temirkanov, and Andrés Orozco-Estrada, collaborating with prestigious orchestras including the Wiener Symphoniker, Philharmonia Orchestra, Mahler Chamber Orchestra, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra, NHK Symphony Orchestra Tokyo, and the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra, as well as being a regular guest with leading Spanish orchestras.

In recent seasons, she made her debut with the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra and the NCPA Orchestra Beijing under Vladimir Ashkenazy. In the Americas, she premiered Jimmy López Bellido’s concerto *Aurora* with the Houston Symphony, a work she also performed in Peru, strengthening her connection to her roots.

The 2024/25 season will include her debut with Geneva Camerata and returns to stages such as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Stuttgarter Philharmoniker, and the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra. She will also embark on a European tour with her innovative chamber music project *Bach in the Jungle*, which connects Bach’s universe with South American classical traditions.

Passionate about chamber music, she has collaborated with artists such as Sol Gabetta, Kirill Gerstein, Mario Brunello, and Maxim Rysanov. Her discography, released by Deutsche Grammophon, includes acclaimed albums such as *Piazzolla*, *Spanish Landscapes*, and Shostakovich’s *Violin Concerto No. 1*, recorded with the Saint Petersburg Philharmonic and Temirkanov.

Trained by renowned masters including Zakhar Bron, Maxim Vengerov, and Mstislav Rostropovich, she was awarded the 2012 Princess of Girona Arts and Letters Prize and has won numerous accolades at international competitions such as Szeryng, Sarasate, and Kreisler. She was also granted a scholarship from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, becoming the youngest artist ever to receive it.

Leticia Moreno performs on a 1762 Nicola Gagliano violin and is represented worldwide by HarrisonParrott.
