Giselle, Ballet Clásico Internacional

In a village in medieval Rhenish Germany, a young peasant girl named Giselle falls in love and believes her feelings are reciprocated. The gamekeeper Hilarion futilely tries to convince her that Albrecht is not a simple peasant but a nobleman deceiving her by disguising himself. Giselle is devastated upon discovering her beloved's cruel deception, loses her reason, and dies.

At night, among the graves in a cemetery, the "willis" appear—ghosts of brides who died before their weddings. On orders from the relentless Myrtha, the willis draw Hilarion and Albrecht into their deadly circle. But Giselle's love saves the count's life.
