To the Moon! — A Theatrical Show by Voilà Producciones for Ages 4+

Step into a magical world of childhood wonder and cosmic imagination with ‘To the Moon!’, a captivating theatrical production by Catalan company Voilà Producciones, presented as part of the Menutsbarris programme — Barcelona’s municipal library initiative dedicated to early-years arts engagement.

Set in the 1960s, the story follows young Tara, who spends her summers on a farm gazing at the stars and dreaming of becoming an astronaut. Fascinated by her clever grandfather’s tales of celestial mysteries — all against the backdrop of humanity’s historic Space Race — she builds a universe of curiosity and tenderness. When her grandfather mysteriously disappears, Tara embarks on her most vital mission yet: saving the Moon’s destiny with the help of a whimsical flock of geese. Performed with poetic simplicity and visual charm by acclaimed actress Elisa Forcano, this 50-minute show blends gentle storytelling, evocative movement, and intergenerational warmth — making it perfect for families and young audiences alike.

Performed in Spanish, recommended for ages 4+, and free of charge (with mandatory online reservation 1–2 weeks prior via the library’s website). Please arrive 10–15 minutes early — late entry is not permitted. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
