"The Little Juggleress" is a concert of early music designed for children and family audiences. A show that combines theatre, storytelling, puppets, and live music performed on historical instruments, set in the Middle Ages.

The Little Juggleress is a girl living in the medieval era. Through her adventures, she meets various historical characters who tell her how music was made, played, and sung.

A musical journey to the Middle Ages where the audience learns about music, rhythms, and stories of medieval artists and musicians.

Emilio Villalba, a multi-instrumentalist musician specialized in Early Music, together with Sara Marina, is dedicated to the recovery and dissemination of historical music from the 11th to the 16th centuries: medieval, Andalusian, and Sephardic music; Spanish Renaissance music; and Andalusian folk traditions.

Emilio Villalba and Sara Marina offer a broad cultural programme for all audiences, aiming to share, explore, and enjoy our valuable cultural heritage. Their performances blend music, narration, poetry, and theatre.

The wide variety of historical instruments they use to perform early music transforms their concerts into an authentic sound museum on stage: viols, vihuelas, psalteries, hurdy-gurdy, lutes, harpsichords, and more.
