Pet Care Day in Alicante

This Sunday, December 14th, the Old Tram Depot Park in Alicante will host a special event called 'Pupil, the Basis of Animal Welfare,' organized by the city's Department of Health. This event is aimed at promoting responsible pet ownership and increasing awareness about proper animal care, identification, and health, as well as preventing animal abuse.

Throughout the day, attendees can enjoy expert talks from veterinarians like Sergio Lillo, Pablo Calatayud, and dog trainer Isabel Francés on topics such as pet health, feral cat colonies, and training techniques. Guests will also have the opportunity to explore exhibitions from police K9 units and the SPEIS service, participate in children’s workshops, win prizes in raffles, and visit booths hosted by animal welfare organizations including Asoka el Grande and Felinos Lo Morant.
