The National Opera and Ballet Theatre of Kyrgyzstan presents the legendary ballet 'Swan Lake'
One of the most famous and beloved ballets in the world — Swan Lake by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky — returns once again to the stage of the National Opera and Ballet Theatre of Kyrgyzstan.
This masterpiece, originally composed between 1875 and 1876 with a libretto by Vladimir Begichev and Vasily Geltser, tells the timeless story of the power of pure and sincere love capable of breaking the strongest spells. At the heart of the plot is the beautiful swan maiden Odette, a symbol of innocence and femininity, and Prince Siegfried, whose faithful love conquers the evil sorcerer Rothbart.
The performance follows the classical choreography of Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov under the artistic direction of Ayzada Tumakova.
Leading roles are performed by distinguished theatre soloists:
Dayana Kidiraliyeva (Odette/Odile), Maksat Tolomushev (Prince Siegfried), Nursultan Kadyrov (Rothbart), Atabek Sadyrkulov (Jester).
The production features soloists and the corps de ballet of the National Opera and Ballet Theatre of Kyrgyzstan — more than 40 dancers on stage.
