Imperfect Couples

Edu, an unemployed truck driver, and Ana, his ex-wife, reunite after an accident leaves her tetraplegic. Juan, a PhD student with cerebral palsy, hires Yanis, a university student and daughter of Serbo-Croatian immigrants facing financial hardship, as his assistant. Together, their stories challenge our perceptions of people with physical disabilities and show how class, race, nationality, or wealth can create deep divides between people, despite their longing for connection.
