Mister Jägger — To Die of Rage

On 22 November 2026, VB Spaces in Alicante hosts the premiere of ‘To Die of Rage’, the debut solo show by acclaimed Spanish comedian and writer Mister Jägger. Blending dark humour, surreal absurdity, and poignant existential inquiry, this 75-minute performance dissects what keeps us alive—and what slowly kills us from within: societal expectations, daily exhaustion, suppressed anger, and the quiet absurdity of modern existence.

Mister Jägger (real name Javier García) is a fixture of Spain’s satirical scene—known for sharp writing on shows like El Intermedio and Late Motiv, and for pioneering digital comedy formats that merge irony with empathy. ‘To Die of Rage’ marks his first full-length theatrical monologue, developed in collaboration with Teatro Español and VB Spaces’ New Formats Lab.

Recommended for audiences aged 16+, the show promises raw authenticity, rhythmic timing, and moments of unexpected tenderness beneath the satire. Tickets are available via Enterticket; special free access is offered to participants of the ‘Jóvenes Creadores’ programme (registration required). A must-see for fans of intelligent, boundary-pushing theatre.
