Unforgettable — Rocío Dúrcal Is Unforgettable

Carmen Morales has received an unexpected offer: to collaborate on a musical revisiting her mother’s life and most famous songs. Carmen is uncertain whether this project should go ahead. It has been twenty years since her mother’s death, and there are certain topics she does not wish to revisit. Moreover — above all — she believes her mother is irreplaceable and unforgettable. So she said no.

Because of this firm refusal, the project’s author/director — somewhat desperate — asked her (or rather, pleaded with her) to come to the theatre and read through the script with him. He fearlessly offers to cut, change, or add anything she deems appropriate.

For 90 minutes, they jointly revisit the most joyful, heartfelt, and humorous moments from her mother’s life, her father’s life, her own life, and the captivating history of our country.

Once time is up — will Carmen agree to let this wild musical premiere?
