F*ck the Small Talk — Alicante: Meaningful Conversations, Not Icebreakers

Welcome to the very first F*ck the Small Talk event in Alicante — a globally celebrated social experience designed to replace awkward small talk with authentic, joyful, and deeply human connection. Born in Berlin in 2019, this movement has since flourished across London, Lisbon, Mexico City, Zurich, and now lands on the sun-drenched Costa Blanca!

Over three immersive hours, participants enjoy a thoughtfully curated journey: gentle warm-up games, a brief inspiring intro, and — the heart of it all — intimate conversation rounds in small groups (3–4 people). Guided by evocative question cards (“When did you last laugh until you cried?”, “What would you tell your 16-year-old self?”), conversations flow naturally and safely. No public speaking required — only what you’re ready to share.

Limited to just 30 carefully selected guests, the event prioritises gender and cultural diversity for rich, dynamic exchanges. The venue — a charming local café, a breezy rooftop with Mediterranean views, or a cozy downtown bar — remains a delightful secret, revealed only 24 hours before the event.
