ZENET returns to the stage with a concert presenting her new album, *The Voice and the Hands* — her most intimate work since *The Seas of China*. The album focuses on the essence of song and the genres that have shaped her musical life. Throughout her career, ZENET has proven herself a true genre “thief”: hinting at tango, suggesting bossa nova, flirting with bolero or chanson. In this new work, she fully immerses herself in each of them — not quoting them, but *inhabiting* them.

Bolero, tango, bossa nova, folk — all resonate with pure, sincere sound: real instruments, voices upfront, no digital artifice.

This new album was born as a tribute to José Taboada, her late musical companion — absent in body, yet profoundly present on this journey, with stops at memory, roots, and artisanal sound.
