ZENET returns to the stage with a concert presenting live their new album *The Voice and the Hands* — their most intimate work since *The Seas of China*. At its core lies the essence of song and the musical genres that have shaped the band’s journey. Over the years, ZENET has proven itself a true genre “thief”: hinting at tango, suggesting bossa nova, flirting with bolero or chanson. In this new album, however, they dive fully into each genre — not quoting them, but inhabiting them. Bolero, tango, bossa nova, folk: pure, sincere sound, performed on real instruments with voices front and center — an unadorned, analog-driven proposal.

This new album emerges as a tribute to José Taboada, ZENET’s absent yet ever-present musical partner. The journey unfolds through memories, roots, and artisanal sound. It is more than an album to be heard — it is one to be *felt*. More than a concert — it is a sonic journey embracing the past and bringing it vividly into the present, with ZENET as its unreserved, profoundly expressive protagonist on stage.
