ZENET returns to the stage with a concert presenting her new album *The Voice and the Hands* — her most intimate work since *The Seas of China*. The album focuses on the essence of songwriting and the genres that have shaped her life. Throughout her career, ZENET has proven herself a true genre “thief”: evoking tango, hinting at bossa nova, flirting with bolero and chanson. In this new work, she doesn’t merely reference these styles — she fully inhabits them. Bolero, tango, bossa nova, and folk resonate in their purest, most sincere form: real instruments, voices front and center, no digital artifice.

This new album emerged as a tribute to José Taboada, her late musical partner — absent in body, yet deeply present in this journey, marked by memories, roots, and artisanal sound. It’s not just an album you listen to — it’s one you *feel*.
