ZENET returns to the stage with a concert presenting her new album *The Voice and the Hands* — her most intimate work since *The Seas of China*. Centered on the essence of song and the genres that have shaped her musical life, this album marks a deep dive into her core influences. Throughout her career, ZENET has been a true genre “thief”: evoking tango, hinting at bossa nova, flirting with bolero or chanson. In this new work, she doesn’t quote these styles — she inhabits them fully. Bolero, tango, bossa nova, folk — all resonate in pure, sincere sound: acoustic instruments, voice front and center, no digital artifice.

The album was born as a tribute to José Taboada, her late musical partner — absent in person, yet deeply present in this journey through memory, roots, and artisanal sound. This is not merely an album to be heard — it is one to be *felt*. Nor is it just a concert: it is a sonic journey that embraces the past and brings it vividly into the present, with ZENET as its unguarded, fully realized protagonist on stage.
