ZENET «Hands and Voice»
Lila Horovitz — double bass
Aaron Pozo — saxophone
Julián Olivares — guitar
ZENET returns to the stage with a concert presenting their new album *The Voice and the Hands* — their most intimate record since *The Seas of China*. At its core lies the essence of song and the genres that have shaped the band’s life journey. Over a career marked by genre fluidity — hinting at tango, suggesting bossa nova, flirting with bolero or chanson — ZENET now fully immerses itself in each of these traditions: not quoting them, but *inhabiting* them.
Bolero, tango, bossa nova, folk — all resonate with pure, sincere sound: real instruments, voice front-and-centre, no digital artifice.
This new album was born as a tribute to José Taboada, ZENET’s late musical partner — absent in person, yet profoundly present on this journey, with stops along memory, roots, and artisanal sound.
It’s not just an album you listen to — it’s one you *feel*. Not merely a concert — but a sonic journey embracing the past and bringing it vividly into the present, with ZENET as its unguarded, fully expressive protagonist on stage.
