ZENET returns to the stage with a concert presenting live their new album *The Voice and the Hands* — their most intimate work since *The Seas of China*. At its core lies the essence of song and the genres that have shaped ZENET’s musical life. Throughout their career, ZENET has been celebrated as a true genre thief: evoking tango, suggesting bossa nova, flirting with bolero and chanson. In this new album, they don’t merely reference these styles — they inhabit them fully. Bolero, tango, bossa nova, folk — all resonate with pure, sincere sound: real instruments, voice front and centre, no digital artifice.

This album was born as a tribute to José Taboada, ZENET’s absent yet ever-present musical companion. It makes stops at memories, at roots, and at hand-crafted sound.
