ZENET «Hands and Voice»
Lila Horovitz — double bass
Aaron Pozo — saxophone
Julián Olivares — guitar
ZENET returns to the stage with a concert presenting live their new album *The Voice and the Hands* — their most intimate work since *The China Seas*, centred on the essence of song and the genres that have shaped their musical life. Over a career marked by genre fluidity — hinting at tango, suggesting bossa nova, flirting with bolero or chanson — ZENET now fully immerses itself in each of these traditions. Not quoting them — inhabiting them.
Bolero, tango, bossa nova, folk: pure, sincere sound, rendered through acoustic instruments and voice front-and-centre — a proposal free of digital artifice.
This new album emerges as a tribute to José Taboada, ZENET’s absent yet ever-present musical companion. The journey unfolds across memories, roots, and artisanal sound. It is not merely an album to be heard — it is one to be *felt*. Not just a concert — but a sonic journey embracing the past and bringing it vividly into the present, with ZENET as its unguarded, fully expressive protagonist on stage.
