ZENET «Hands and Voice»
Lila Horovitz — double bass
Aaron Pozo — saxophone
Julián Olivares — guitar
ZENET returns to the stage with a concert presenting her new album *The Voice and the Hands* — her most intimate work since *The Seas of China*, centred on the essence of song and the genres that have shaped her life. Throughout her career, she has proven herself a true genre “thief”: evoking tangos, suggesting bossas, flirting with bolero or chanson. In this new work, she fully immerses herself in each — not quoting them, but *inhabiting* them.
Bolero, tango, bossa nova, folk — pure, sincere sound, rendered with real instruments and voice front-and-centre, free of digital artifice.
A new album born as a tribute to José Taboada, her absent yet ever-present musical partner — this journey makes stops at memory, roots, and artisanal sound.
This is not just an album you hear — it’s one you *feel*. Not merely a concert: it’s a sonic journey embracing the past and bringing it vividly into the present, with ZENET as its unguarded, fully expressive protagonist on stage.
