ZENET returns to the stage with a concert presenting her new album *The Voice and the Hands* — her most intimate work since *The Seas of China*. The album focuses on the essence of song and the genres that have shaped her life. Throughout her career, ZENET has been celebrated as a true genre “thief”: evoking tango, hinting at bossa nova, flirting with bolero or chanson. In this new work, she fully immerses herself in each — not quoting them, but *inhabiting* them.

Bolero, tango, bossa nova, folk — all rendered with pure, sincere sound: real instruments, voice front and centre, no digital artifice.

This new album was born as a tribute to José Taboada, her absent yet deeply present musical partner. The journey pauses at memories, roots, and hand-crafted sound.
