ZENET «Hands and Voice»
Lila Horovitz — double bass
Aaron Pozo — saxophone
Julián Olivares — guitar
ZENET returns to the stage with a concert presenting live their new album *The Voice and the Hands* — their most intimate record since *The Seas of China*. Centered on the essence of song and the genres that have shaped their life, this work marks a deep immersion into musical roots. Throughout a career defined by genre fluidity — subtly evoking tango, hinting at bossa nova, flirting with bolero or chanson — ZENET now fully inhabits each of these forms. Not quoting them, but living within them.
Bolero, tango, bossa nova, folk: pure and sincere sound, built with acoustic instruments and voices placed front and center — no digital artifice.
This new album emerges as a tribute to José Taboada, ZENET’s late musical companion — absent in body, yet profoundly present in this journey, with stops along memory, heritage, and handcrafted sound.
It is not only an album to be heard — it is one to be *felt*. Not merely a concert, but a sonic journey embracing the past and bringing it vividly into the present — with ZENET as its unguarded, fully realized protagonist on stage.
