ZENET returns to the stage with a concert presenting her new album *The Voice and the Hands* — her most intimate work since *The Seas of China*. The album focuses on the essence of song and the genres that have shaped her life. Throughout her career, ZENET has proven herself a true genre “thief”: evoking tango, hinting at bossa nova, flirting with bolero or chanson. In this new work, she doesn’t quote these styles — she fully inhabits them. Bolero, tango, bossa nova, folk — all rendered in pure, sincere sound: real instruments, voice front-and-centre, no digital artifice.

This new album was born as a tribute to José Taboada, her absent yet ever-present musical companion. The journey pauses at memories, roots, and artisanal sound. It’s not just an album you listen to — it’s one you *feel*. Not merely a concert, but a sonic journey embracing the past and bringing it vividly into the present — with ZENET as its unguarded, fully expressive protagonist on stage.
