ZENET «Hands and Voice»
Lila Horovitz — double bass
Aaron Pozo — saxophone
Julián Olivares — guitar
ZENET returns to the stage with a concert presenting live their new album *The Voice and the Hands* — their most intimate work since *The Seas of China*, centred on the essence of song and the genres that have shaped their musical life.
Throughout their career, ZENET has earned a reputation as a true genre thief: evoking tangos, suggesting bossas, flirting with bolero or chanson. In this new work, they fully immerse themselves in each genre — not quoting them, but *inhabiting* them.
Bolero, tango, bossa nova, folk — all resonate in pure, sincere sound, performed on real instruments with voices upfront and no digital artifice.
This new album was born from a tribute to José Taboada, their absent yet ever-present musical companion — a journey marked by memories, roots, and artisanal sound.
It is more than an album you listen to — it is one you *feel*. It is more than a concert: it is a sonic journey embracing the past and bringing it vividly into the present, with ZENET as the open-hearted, fully expressive protagonist on stage.
