ZENET returns to the stage with a concert presenting live her new album *The Voice and the Hands* — her most intimate work since *The Seas of China*. Focused on the essence of song and the genres that have shaped her life, this album marks a deep immersion into musical roots. Throughout her career, ZENET has proven herself a true genre “thief”: hinting at tango, suggesting bossa nova, flirting with bolero or chanson. In this new work, she doesn’t just reference these styles — she inhabits them fully. Bolero, tango, bossa nova, folk — all rendered in pure, sincere sound: real instruments, voice front and centre, no digital artifice.

This new album was born as a tribute to José Taboada, her late musical partner — absent in person, yet deeply present in this journey. Stops are made at memories, at roots, and at handcrafted sound.
