ZENET «Hands and Voice»
Lila Horovitz — double bass
Aaron Pozo — saxophone
Julián Olivares — guitar
ZENET returns to the stage with a concert presenting live their new album *The Voice and the Hands* — their most intimate record since *The Seas of China*. At its core lies the essence of song and the genres that have shaped ZENET’s life. Over a career marked by genre fluidity — hinting at tango, suggesting bossa nova, flirting with bolero or chanson — this new work dives fully into each tradition: not quoting them, but *inhabiting* them.
Bolero, tango, bossa nova, folk — all rendered in pure, sincere sound: real instruments, voice upfront, no digital artifice.
The album emerges as a tribute to José Taboada, ZENET’s late musical companion — absent in person, yet deeply present in this journey, with stops along memory, roots, and artisanal soundcraft.
This is not just an album to be heard — it is one to be *felt*. Not merely a concert, but a sonic journey embracing the past and bringing it vividly into the present — with ZENET as its unguarded, fully expressive protagonist on stage.
