ZENET «Hands and Voice»
Lila Horovitz — double bass
Aaron Pozo — saxophone
Julián Olivares — guitar
ZENET returns to the stage with a concert presenting their new album *The Voice and the Hands* — their most intimate work since *The Seas of China*. The album focuses on the essence of song and the genres that have shaped their artistic life. Throughout their career, ZENET has proudly embodied genre fluidity: evoking tango, suggesting bossa nova, flirting with bolero or chanson. In this new work, however, they dive fully into each tradition — not quoting them, but inhabiting them.
Bolero, tango, bossa nova, folk: pure, sincere sound resonates through acoustic instruments and voices placed front and center — a proposal free of digital artifice. This new album emerges as a tribute to José Taboada, their late musical companion — absent in body, yet deeply present in this journey, with stops along memory, roots, and artisanal sound. It is more than an album to be heard — it is one to be *felt*. Not merely a concert, but a sonic journey embracing the past and bringing it vividly into the present, with ZENET as its vulnerable, fully realized protagonist on stage.
