Dance & Celebration at the New Albufereta Bridge: Open-Air SBK Party

To celebrate the opening of the new pedestrian bridge in the scenic coastal district of La Albufereta (Alicante), a joyful open-air SBK dance gathering — featuring salsa, bachata, and kizomba — will take place right by the Mediterranean Sea. The event kicks off at 12:30 with a free bachata workshop led by an experienced instructor from one of Alicante’s top dance communities — suitable for beginners and advanced dancers alike. This is followed by a relaxed social SBK session: spontaneous dancing, live or DJ-curated Latin rhythms, and friendly interaction. A communal picnic-style lunch is also part of the plan — bringing people together over food and shared energy. These gatherings have become a beloved local tradition, uniting dancers from across the province — from Alicante city to Elche and Benidorm — in a warm, inclusive atmosphere.
