Benidorm Punk Weekender 2027 — A Raw, Independent Punk Festival on Costa Blanca

The Benidorm Punk Weekender is an annual independent punk festival held in the vibrant coastal city of Benidorm, on Spain’s Costa Blanca. Running since 2015, it brings together fans of punk rock, oi!, skate-punk, and underground scenes from across Europe. In 2027, the event takes place from 7 to 9 January, making it a rare and refreshing winter highlight in Spain’s music calendar.

Held across multiple venues—including the legendary club La Roca, beachfront bars, pop-up stages in abandoned buildings, and open-air plazas—the festival embraces a true DIY ethos. It prioritizes accessibility (most events are free or low-cost), grassroots collaboration, and political awareness. Over 40 bands from Spain, the UK, Germany, Poland, and beyond take the stage, alongside workshops on zine-making, anti-fascist organizing, sustainable living, vinyl markets, and documentary screenings about punk history and resistance.

More than just music, Benidorm Punk Weekender reimagines the resort town as a hub for radical creativity—where sun, salt, and solidarity meet loud guitars and louder ideas.
