Twenty years after its original release, *Peace* returns to the stage as a reimagining of Bill Evans’s musical universe through the lens of Niño Josele. In this project, the flamenco guitar assumes the role of the piano, translating its harmonic richness into its own expressive language.
Conceived as a jazz project rather than a fusion, the trio creates an intimate and open sonic space where improvisation and interaction are essential.
The repertoire blends pieces from the original album with new interpretations — striking a balance between structure and freedom.
The result is a delicate and deeply expressive proposal that reveals music’s capacity to build bridges between traditions through a personal, contemporary voice.
More than a reinterpretation, *Peace* functions as a shift in perspective: Evans’s language is not transplanted — it is transformed. The guitar does not imitate the piano but reimagines it from its own sonic material, generating a subtle tension between memory and present that defines the character of the concert.
