Henar Álvarez Premieres 'La Chochoctora'

On 28 November 2026, VB Spaces in Madrid will host the premiere of La Chochoctora, the debut solo theatrical show by acclaimed Spanish comedian, writer, and social media star Henar Álvarez — now approaching one million followers on Instagram. Blending stand-up, live performance, original musical parodies, and spontaneous audience interaction, this 90-minute production marks a bold evolution in her artistic voice.

Known for her sharp wit, feminist advocacy, and unapologetic humour, Álvarez resurrects her most iconic character — 'La Chochoctora', a charismatic, white-coated nurse who delivers incisive social commentary with equal parts satire and sincerity. Through biting monologues, reimagined pop songs with newly written lyrics, and immersive stagecraft, the show confronts systemic repression of female sexuality, gendered double standards, and patriarchal norms.

With doors opening at 18:00 and the show starting at 19:00, this adults-only (18+) event promises laughter, provocation, and catharsis — all in one unforgettable evening at VB Spaces.
