Rubén Blades Live at Marina Norte de Valencia — July 21, 2026!

The countdown is on! Legendary Latin American singer, songwriter, actor, and activist Rubén Blades brings his electrifying live show to Marina Norte de Valencia on July 21, 2026 at 10:00 PM — a flagship event of the FAR València 2026 cultural initiative, spanning concerts, art, and entertainment across the Alicante region.

A 15-time Latin Grammy and 3-time Grammy Award winner, Blades revolutionised salsa with timeless classics like Pedro Navaja (1978), a searing social allegory that redefined Latin music’s narrative power; Color Esperanza (2020), an anthem of resilience during global uncertainty; and Amor y Control, showcasing his lyrical depth and political conscience. Over five decades, he has shaped generations — from New York’s barrios to Bogotá’s plazas — blending jazz sophistication, Afro-Caribbean rhythm, and poetic storytelling.

This concert promises not only beloved hits but also rare arrangements, spontaneous improvisations, and potentially special collaborations with local Valencian musicians. Given Blades’ selective touring schedule — focused lately on landmark cultural moments and humanitarian causes — this is a truly singular opportunity. Picture the Mediterranean twilight over the marina, the sea breeze, and thousands united by rhythm and meaning. Tickets are selling fast — secure your place in history!
