Correfoc Fire Parade in the Center of Alicante

If you love the atmosphere of fire, sparks, and a bit of adrenaline, tomorrow evening will be one of the most spectacular events of the carnival. Correfoc is a traditional fire parade featuring 'demons' (dimonis), pyrotechnics, and drums. Participants run along the route with fireworks, surrounded by sparks, smoke, and music. The atmosphere is very spectacular but noisy and quite loud. After the parade, there will be a concert and a popular 'salchichada', which means serving grilled sausages, at Plaza del Carmen. Dress code recommendations: no synthetic materials! Cotton, preferably long-sleeved, and a hat. Prohibited: pushing, throwing any objects, spraying water, obstructing staff, and no pets allowed.
