Academic Symphony Orchestra of San Vicente
The Academic Symphony Orchestra of San Vicente (OSASV) was founded in 1982 as an innovative initiative to bring symphonic music closer to the province of Alicante. Over more than four decades, the orchestra has strengthened its presence with numerous concerts throughout the province and national tours in regions such as Catalonia, Castilla-La Mancha, and Madrid, as well as collaborations with internationally renowned ballet companies.
Since 2018, OSASV has been led by Pablo Gutiérrez Pastor, under whose baton the ensemble has continued to grow in artistic and musical quality.
Our repertoire is primarily based on classical symphonic works, as well as zarzuelas, lyrical concerts, and more contemporary proposals.
Our mission is to provide southern Valencia Community with a stable, diverse, and high-quality symphonic program. Each concert reflects our commitment to art, connection with the audience, and pride in contributing to the cultural fabric of our region.
