Academic Symphony Orchestra of San Vicente
The Academic Symphony Orchestra of San Vicente (OSASV) was founded in 1982 as an innovative initiative to bring symphonic music closer to the province of Alicante. Over more than four decades, the orchestra has consolidated its presence through numerous concerts across the province, national tours in regions such as Catalonia, Castilla-La Mancha, and Madrid, and collaborations with internationally renowned ballet companies.
Since 2018, OSASV has been led by Pablo Gutiérrez Pastor, under whose baton the ensemble has continued to grow artistically and musically.
Our repertoire is primarily based on classical symphonic works, as well as zarzuelas, lyrical concerts, and more contemporary proposals.
Our mission is to provide southern Valencia Region with a stable, diverse, and high-quality symphonic program. Each concert reflects our commitment to art, connection with audiences, and pride in being part of our region’s cultural fabric.
