TRAM Alicante Strikes: SEMAF Announces March 2026 Protest Calendar

The Spanish Union of Train Drivers and Assistants (SEMAF) has announced a series of industrial actions on the TRAM network in Alicante following the breakdown of negotiations with Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana (FGV). The strikes aim to safeguard passenger and staff safety, as well as organizational fairness. Actions are scheduled for 13, 16, 18, 20, 24, and 26 March 2026, across three daily time slots: 07:00–10:00, 13:00–16:00, and 19:00–21:00. Significant service disruptions—including partial or full suspension of tram operations—are expected during these periods, impacting urban mobility across Alicante.
