Car-Free Square: A New Era for Plaza del Ayuntamiento

In Alicante, the main square is becoming pedestrian-only. The process began with a temporary closure until January 7 for the installation of a large nativity scene. In the coming months, a new public transport route will be developed, and the square itself will undergo complete reconstruction with already approved funding of 450,000 euros. Soon residents and visitors will be able to enjoy the renovated public space.
