Alicante Transforms Plaza del Ayuntamiento Into a Pedestrian Zone

Alicante has embarked on an ambitious project to make the city center more pedestrian-friendly. The Plaza del Ayuntamiento is now closed to private vehicles, marking the first step toward creating a fully pedestrian area in front of the city hall. For now, only public buses are allowed through the square, though future plans include rerouting these as well.
