Christmas Magic in Alicante 2025: Giant Tree, 360° Sphere, and a Sea of Lights!
Alicante is preparing to shine brighter than ever! This year, the city's main pedestrian street — Constitution Avenue — will transform into a true Christmas fairy tale with an impressive light show and interactive giant decorations.
What to expect:
- A nearly 20-meter grand Christmas tree — now a traditional symbol of Christmas in Alicante.
- A giant 360° light sphere opposite the Central Market — you can walk freely inside and take stunning photos from every angle! Expected to become the most popular spot for selfies and Instagram stories.
- A third monumental element: a large two-dimensional decoration in the same style, which you can also walk through and photograph.
The official lighting of the Christmas decorations takes place this Friday at 7:00 PM. That’s when the city will burst into millions of lights, and the festivities will officially begin!
Also: lighting is being upgraded on Avenida Alfonso el Sabio — new custom-designed lamps will soon be installed.
The city council is focusing on interactive installations: Christmas decorations are no longer just beautiful lights — you can step inside, stroll around, take photos, and feel like you're part of the magic. The city center promises to be lively, vibrant, and filled with holiday spirit until Three Kings Day (January 6).
